New GAC MOTOR Cars Tested Between UAE And Saudi Arabia

Loyal ArabGT followers, you are today on a date with a new episode that is somewhat different, because it includes the test drive of new GAC MOTOR cars between the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

The journey started from Dubai when our website founder Mousub Shashaa, took the GS8, which represents a class of full-size SUV with 7 seats from the Chinese manufacturer GAC MOTOR, and this car has an elegant and luxurious exterior design with LED lights and a unique identity.

The 2021 GS8 is powered by a 320T four-cylinder two-liter engine with a turbo that produces 201 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque and is connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission. This engine consumes 12.2 liters of gasoline for a distance of 100 km.

The full-size SUV is available in several grades, and Gargash GAC MOTOR, the dealer in the United Arab Emirates offers the car in two trims; the front-wheel-drive GE and the all-wheel-drive GL.

The safety and security systems available on this new Chinese car, include front and rear sensors, a lane-keeping system, cameras under the side mirrors, a 360-degree camera, and 8 airbags.

After talking about the GAC GS8, we will head to the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with the journalist colleague Ahmed Al-Shehri, who will introduce the 2021 GAC GS3 that he got from Aljomaih Automotive Company, GAC MOTOR Cars dealer in KSA.

The GS3 comes with a 1.3-liter engine with a turbo that generates 135 horsepower and 202 Nm of torque, connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission, and this car travels an average of 15.6 km per one liter of gasoline.

After Ahmed told us everything we need to know about the GAC GS3, we will return to Jebel Jais in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah UAE, where Suhaib Shashaa will test drive the mid-size GS5 crossover that depends on a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with a turbo that produces 166 hp and is connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission, with an average fuel consumption of 6 liters per 100 km.

The episode also included the GS4 model, which was test-driven by Captain Abdulaziz Al-Fadhili from Saudi Arabia. The car depends on a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with a turbo that produces 152 hp and 235 Nm of torque and is connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission. This car consumes an average of 15.3 liters per km.
