GAC GA4 won Argungu MOTOR Rally, which took place in Nigeria. The competition took place over 3 days along a route plotted through the country’s northern savannahs, known for their harsh terrain. The winning car’s driver praised the GA4’s braking system, along with level of comfort and safety.
This is not the first of GAC MOTORs’ motorsport successes. In June 2019, a team racing the GA4 took part in the Kalayaan Cup 12-hour endurance race in the Philippines. The crew took 4th place overall, with the team taking the top sport in the manufacturers class. The tournament in the Philippines is notable for the fact that in the manufacturers class cars can only be fitted with modified brakes and safety equipment (belts, racing seats and roll cages). Nothing else differs these cars from their road counterparts, which makes GAC MOTOR’s success in their debut race even more special.
